About your Profile Image

An image can be added to your profile. This can be a picture of yourself or something that best represents you or your personality.

If you cannot think of a good image to use we have some small ready made avatar style images which you can use instead.

Your profile image is shown on all pages of the site when you are logged in, it also acts as an avatar when you post on the TSM Radio Forum.

If you choose to upload an image please make sure that it keeps within our required size limit/dimensions. These are:-

Maximum Width x Height (which ever is reached first) - 200 x 500 pixels

Maximum file size - 100kb

Acceptable image file formats are JPEG, GIF & PNG

All profile images that are submitted have to be approved by a moderator first, any images which have pornographic content, images of gore or portray hatred will not be accepted. You will be informed by email if your image has been approved or rejected. You can choose to change an image that is pending approval, you do not have to wait until it has been approved until you change it.

Here is how you add a profile image:-

        1.   Click on the 'My Profile' link in your user menu (you need to be logged in to see this menu).

        2.   Move your mouse pointer over the 'Edit' button (top right hand corner) and select 'Update Your Image' from the drop down menu.

        3.   If you are using your own image then click the 'Browse' button navigate to your chosen image then click 'Upload' if it has been
            successfully uploaded you will get the message 'your message is now pending moderator approval'.

        4.   If you would like to use an image from the list choose your image by clicking the radio button next it then clicking the 'Confirm Choice'
            button. You should now see your chosen image in your profile.
