Review: The Apple Scruffs - Big Hearts E-mail
Written by Doowie
Saturday, 11 April 2009

Top Glasgow band The Apple Scruffs hit us yet again with a massive anthem! Possibly one of the best sounding Scottish acts around at the moment, they are going from strength to strength and gaining more and more momentum, in fact if The Apple Scruffs were a run away train, they'd be going so fast the tracks would melt beneath them!

Review: Shirley - The Puppet Show E-mail
Written by Jane Pople

This song is a time machine, no seriously, it takes you straight back to the early noughties, when The Libertines and The Strokes filled our ears, smoke wafted through dingy pubs and the country wasn't crunching on lack of credit. The beautiful sound of Ambrose Tompkins is something that we have always been waiting for, even if we didn't know it. Review: Suds & Soda - Style Over Substance E-mail
Written by Tiff Woosley
Monday, 29 December 2008

Making an entrance with a thumping, bold and breezy beat, please welcome Suds & Soda - a self-professed but anonymous Soho-based electro-glam duo. There's no question about it, the mysterious twosome (who by the way have a beautifully kitsch MySpace page) sure know how to lay down some beats. Influenced by the likes of fellow electro gems CSS and Ladytron, Suds & Soda master the art of electro so very well - in fact, as I listen my feet are itching to dance.
