Listening to The Secret Meeting is like stepping into a Mark Ryden painting...sometimes dark, sometimes ethereal, but always captivating. ‘Beautiful Noise Machine' kicks off with a paroxysmal intro and segues into swirling guitars with Karin's vocals washing over it like warm milk and honey. Ethereal, seductive and blissful- a real ‘Dolce Dissonance' that seems like the soundtrack of a dream.

…sometimes dark, sometimes ethereal, but always captivating.

Featuring Karin ( Member of Collide as well as guest vocals for cEvin Key's side project PlatEAU and vocals to the remix of Frontline Assembly ) and music by Statik (also in Collide and has worked with Tool, Prince, Skinny Puppy, and Leonard Cohen) and Dean Garcia ( the instrumental side of Curve. Garcia has also worked with The Eurythmics, Mick Jagger, and Sinead O'Connor.), the trio came together in 2006. They ‘met' online as Karin and Statik live in Los Angeles and Dean lives in London. Karin was surfing online and came across Dean's solo page and inspired by Dean's featured instrumentals, messaged him to ask if she could provide guest vocals. Dean mailed back and included some music to be worked on and the three were so pleased with the result, they continued, under the name ‘The Secret Meeting' (so named because the excitement of the project befitted that description).

So far, they have released the CDs ‘Ultrashiver' and ‘Shooting Laser Beams' the single ‘Shiver X'and they were Auralgasms artist of the month for March this year and have been featured on the cover of Fazer magazine (Canada) in and on the cd sampler of Elegy magazine (France) in Gothic Beauty magazine (the U.S) and in The Machinist (Belarus) but for now their future plans are to ‘see which way the wind blows' But whatever they do, they are definitely a secret worth sharing."
