Hailing from Norwich and having a lead singer that grew up on a pig farm does not a rock band make- or does it? The Neutrinos seem to have used these; some may call shortcomings, and cooked up a fierce sounding band of the female fronted kind.

Karen’s vocals have a sharp edge to them not to dissimilar from that of the hypothetical love child of Blondie and Brody Dale

Donkey Work a single taken from their album One Way Kiss and is only a small taster of the anger and hatred this band feel at the world. Lead singer Karen's vocals have a sharp edge to them not to dissimilar from that of the hypothetical love child of Blondie and Brody Dale. Taking with her their female angst and attitude this is one woman that you don't want to meet down a dark alley despite her being a hottie.

The Neutrino's ooze an attitude of indifference on Donkey Work to anyone who doesn't like them, as Karen cries "Sold down the river we're having so much fun." In a more than sarcastic note, but it really does sound like this band, as angry as they appear, are having a lot of fun. With a melody reminiscent of The Beach Boys on Valium and funky harmonies it confuses you into tapping your feet. Donkey Work is one of the more upbeat tracks from the album, which is mainly about death and kissing- well why not. With their aggressive guitars, and sexy dominatrix style vocals they twist the funky pop melody until it bursts spilling guts everywhere and leaves a highly enjoyable track. You'll be singing about letting Monkey's get some before you know it. For those who are a fan of Be Your Own Pet or PJ Harvey, this band offers a different take on the new alt rock. If you check out their official homepage you can listen to the Album One Way Kiss in its entirety
