With a nomination for last year's Kerrang's prestigious Best Unsigned Band Award under their belt, Star Chamber are already living up to their name as an act of nothing less than star quality.  Their new release Something That She Said is a corker of a track that propels quite magically from start to finish.

This track really drives home the fact that Star Chamber really show the potential to keep it coming

The fact that the chorus is already stuck in my head having only listened to it once is proof enough that the track is indeed a sparkling one.  Having said that, it also has the ability to grow; a song that after several listens, I can imagine can only get better.

The simple but steady rhythm works well throughout in that it allows room for decoration - something that Star Chamber seem to revel in.  For example, a particular moment to look out for is the lovely guitar and whistling medley - it's really quite a treat.  Taking inspiration from influences such as David Bowie and T-Rex, it's crystal clear as to why Star Chamber master such a classic sound.  Comprising a nice balance between storming and serenading, the track maintains traditional charisma woven in amongst its melodious undertones.

Although impressive as a stand-alone track, what Something That She Said really drives home is the fact that Star Chamber really show the potential to keep it coming - in other words, the track is no one-hit-wonder.  The band has already made appearances at showcases in Nice, Aylesbury and London, and it seems that there is no stopping them.  With an ever-growing fan base in the UK, Star Chamber's Something That She Said has proven that these guys are no shooting stars - they're definitely here to stay.
