This ironic tale of the bands own name anguishly cries out for a new sound instead of as they describe “the same old fashion, but with less passion.” And it seems the band have taken it upon themselves to complete the ambitious quest and give us something new and tasty to sink our music thirsty fangs into.

sexy punk disco with a cheeky splash of art rock for good measure

It’s Been Done exposes this bands sound as cooler than Indie shaped ice cubes in a punk shaped glass. They have managed to blend old and new punk in such a delicious way, using beats not too far removed from Bloc Party and vocals echoing similarly to early Clash angst. The sexily aloof intro will leave you salivating in anticipation of the toe tapping attitude this song unleashes.

Plastic Passion seem to have stumbled across a new sound that appears to be sexy punk disco with a cheeky splash of art rock for good measure. These ingredients have certainly mixed well to show how tasty their talent really is.

“Get off you seats its time to move those feet,” sings the lead vocalist Lemmi Eaton in his hauntingly distinctive voice, and with the guitar rifts from the future thanks to guitarist Glenn Clift it’s hard to disobey these lads from Cheshunt. The last addition to the band and the man who answered their call for a new drummer Mike Panayiotis brings as they themselves describe it, “the backbone to the band.”

This bands poetically punk attitude is anything but plastic and their latest song goes beyond proving it.

The band has started to climb the ladder of the musical elite by playing with the likes of The Foals, Blood Red Shoes, and Jack Penate. With this little gem of exciting new music it surely won't be long before they climb right to the top.
