Straight into 2008 comes King Furnace with another shed load of quality tracks! These guys have hit the studio, and they've hit it hard delivering some fresh tacks that smash out of the speakers and right down your ear canal. King Furnace sound as though they've evolved and grown as a band and are now getting to the top of their game. Although I love the old tracks a lot, there is something a bit more energetic about the new tracks, which will be whipping crowds up into frenzies at their shows this summer.

more thump than a wrecking ball and more attitude than a pit bull on steroids

The track that really defines the direction the band is taking is ‘So-Low'. This track is full of high octane, straight to the jugular fierceness that seems to border on a more retro metal sound that really is fantastic. Not many bands can pull off what King Furnace can musically and visually but ‘So-Low' is going to take the band further into the eyes of the many that listen to the track. It's an energetic ride from the first drumbeat, and the guitars kick in hard and fast giving it more thump than a wrecking ball and more attitude than a pit bull on steroids.

The lyrics suit the track and they sound truly amazing. A kind of a mixture of Joe Strummer, John Kay and that guy from Electric Six! It just gets your head banging and your body jumping, a track that will set the whole night on fire and get the crowd pumping. Even though ‘So-Low' isn't a very long track its perfect for a quick buzz track to start up a great atmosphere, there's no ten-minute guitar or drum solos its just 3 minutes of in your face ROCK! With a very refined, clear sound.
