Addictive! That’s what this track is, like Pringles mixed with crack! It’s a must listen and you'll want to hear it again and again. God Damn Breeder! is one of those catchy tracks that'll stay in your head and you won't be able to get rid of it, the reason for this is that it's a solid track with good rifts and sing-along lyrics.

Addictive! That’s what this track is, like Pringles mixed with crack!

The song itself is about a society where women can get whatever they want if they have children, but is put across in such a good way it's easy to miss the point. It's good to see a band that is ready to take on such topics without making it so obvious what the song itself is about. I think now we are living in a society where people want everything for nothing, hopefully this band can influence a generation into thinking that's the wrong attitude.

I love to see new bands push their way forward in the industry and I think that King Furnace have got the ability and the image to take them all the way to the next level. Their back catalogue of songs is somewhat amazing and the band is not scared to try any genre to get credibility. I definitely think that God Damn Breeder! will get the band a lot of attention, if they can create songs like this then they are more than capable of getting a wider audience. I mean how many bands have tackled the issue of young mothers using babies for benefits? None! As no one has had the balls to do so (and they're from Oxford?!), yet everyone knows a 'God Damn Breeder', the woman who's very good looking but is pushing 2 pushchairs and 6 kids to school! It's good to see a band that can create such good music with a strong meaning to their lyrics and pull it all off! I believe this band are set for great things as there is no-one around like them, and at the moment its originality that counts for everything. Hopefully a few more people will take note of this band and spread the word, we could all create 100 Arctic Monkeys and be happy but if the lyrics have no meaning then what's the point? King Furnace are filling a gap where other bands are missing and hopefully it'll be this that propels them all the way.

If you're in Oxford (I've heard it's becoming the place to be?) and you get a chance, check these guys out and support them all the way. If you see them gigging anywhere make sure to catch them. They have a lot to say and it's all nail on the head stuff, so keep tuned!

Listen to God Damn Breeder!
