This is a strange one...it sounds like so many different things that it's hard to pick out any specific comparisons. Although one that does spring to mind is that vocalist Dave Human sounds not unlike Sergio Pizzorno. (Which is always good because Sergio is yummy.)
The swirling, sinister strings work well with the strident guitar and funky ass bassline. It's quite paradoxical in that it sounds old, yet new. Timeless I suppose. The Justus Kohncke mix is too disjointed for my liking, but the Dr Strangelove mix is pretty damn good. A bit Tomcraft-y in places, which always makes the Becka happy. This song is definitely a ‘driving' track it makes me want to drive like a loon whilst wearing tin foil in the middle of the night. Shame I can't drive (or is it?). Listen to 'Black Moon'
