Revere return with their new single in July entitled As The Radars Sleep.

The single follows on from the success of their 2008 debut single 'Escape Artist' on Albino Records. The track featured on BBC 6 and lead to the following quote from Tom Robinson... "An extraordinary widescreen technicolor epic, a stunning record by a stunning band." They have just completed a sell out gig in London at The Union Chapel and release their debut studio album in late summer 2009.

London's most ambitious collective has always stood out for its reluctance to toe the party line. Now signed to Albino Recordings, November will see the band release their debut single The Escape Artist, featuring  a wealth of orchestral instrumentation and hint at an affinity with those who struggle to function in an unsympathetic world.

Revere's sound draws on genres including klezmer, folk, post-rock, classical and film soundtracks and their recorded work is frequently compared to instrumental alchemists such as Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire and Calexico. They are best known for their cacophonous live sets.

For the new single, the band have collaborated with award winning film-maker Vanessa Caswill (4Talent Best Director 2007) to make a music video/short film about loss and separation. The recording of the song itself was split between a studio hidden out in the Scottish Highlands and Pinewood Film Studios.

2008 has been a breakthrough year for the band. They have already featured on iTunes "Hotly Tipped For 2008" and were announced as finalists in Glastonbury unsigned competition and subsequently booked for the Late ‘N' Live Stage at this years festival.
