Your privacy is important to TSM Radio And because it’s important, we want to make sure you understand what we do, and what you can do, to protect your privacy. 1. Protecting personally identifiable information We collect your email address, other contact details and date of birth when you register as a user of TSM Radio. We do not make your email address or contact details public. We also do not show your date of birth. We do allow people to see your nationality, your gender and other generic information that you have chosen to supply (your hobbies, for example). You can also protect yourself. Don’t type your email address, real name or any other information that could be used to identify you into any comments and forum posts,. Such content is always available to either the public as a whole or to members of a given group of users. 2. Cookies We, or those advertising on our website, may send cookies to your computer. A “cookie” is a text only file (in other words, not a program, virus or spyware) that helps us identify your browser. We use both session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain in your computer. You can use your browser to delete them, or set your browser to refuse cookies. However, you won’t be able to use many of the features on TSM Radio without them. 3. Invisible images To help us determine whether something has been clicked on or loaded (like an advert or movie clip), or opened (like an email), we, or our advertisers, use invisible images on some of our web pages and emails. 4. Server logs TSM Radio’s web servers record information about visits to websites, such as IP addresses, length of visit, pages visited, browser and operating system type, entry/exit pages, date and time of visit and so on in server logs. Some of this information may uniquely identify your browser. How TSM Radio uses information We use the information you give us and the information we collect to develop our services, maintain website support and to continue to allow you to use TSM Radio. We analyse user preferences and trends to help us provide a better experience for our users and provide more suitable offers and services. If you have agreed to it, we use your contact details and information to supply you with information and services from TSM Radio and associated parties. We may also choose to introduce you to a product, a service or information provided by a third-party. From time to time, we may also ask you if you wish to take part in market research activity to help us and associated parties develop products, services and other items. You’re in control Remember, it is up to you how much information you place in your personal profile. We do ask for some compulsory information – your email address, date of birth, and country. Your email address and date of birth are not made available to other users. Without this information, we may not be able to provide the services you would like. We ask you to use a password before you change any of your personal information, vote or use any of the features on TSM Radio that record information. You may ask for your user account to be deleted from TSM Radio. Your details may still be recorded in a historic transaction record, but this is not part of the live TSM Radio service. If you are under 16 years old, we ask that you tell your legal guardian that you are using TSM Radio. Looking after your data TSM Radio aims to take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data. However, we do not ever warrant that your data is totally secure. You supply and transmit data to us at your own risk. You can help us by not disclosing your password to anyone, ever. No person from TSM Radio will ask you to disclose your password. If you receive a suspect email, report it to us immediately. Legal stuff about this privacy policy TSM Radio is governed by the laws of Scotland, UK. By using TSM Radio (including a single visit to a page, single server request, or replying to a TSM Radio email) you agree to the transfer of your data to the United Kingdom and anywhere else that TSM Radio sees fit to process data. In the event of a change of ownership of TSM Radio in any shape or form you agree that TSM Radio may transfer your data to the new owners or creditors. TSM Radio reserves the right to change this policy from time to time and update it on this page. Your use of TSM Radio (including a single visit to a page, single server request, or replying to a TSM Radio email) constitutes your agreement to this privacy policy and all other TSM Radio terms and conditions. Advertisers and other websites that interact with TSM Radio may have different privacy policies. You should review the terms of any website that you visit.
