Welsh rockers Evil i are the participants in what is the Easter bank holiday TSM Radio interview. Being that it is a bank holiday like me you might be working and this usually means double pay. This became a bit of an issue for the Evil i boys especially Miff who is the self appointed shop steward for the band. Miff demanded that the boys got free pizza and a jumbo bottle of coke for coming in to do the interview, unfortunately our budget only stretched to a few packets of McCoy's crisps and five cartons of Um Bongo. The issue was finally sorted when I offered Miff and the guys a quick look through the January edition of Razzle I had ...ermm lying around in the office, Bass player Chris was a little traumatised by the whole affair.

Bristol based singer/songwriter James Hollingsworth took some time out to do this week's TSM Radio interview. On James' website he has a section which has links to other people named James Hollingsworth. I thought this was a good idea so I googled my name only to find out that it is shared with a second hand toilet roll sales man from Scunthorpe, a bearded lady and a bloke from Massachusetts who likes to wear rubber outfits and fill them with helium then roll around on the floor all day like a weeble. Needless to say I will be giving the annual 'Aynz' gathering a miss this year.

The Neutrinos' Karen and Simon took some time out to do an interview for TSM Radio this week, they hail from Norwich which is famous for 'Sale of The Century' and Delia Smith. For those that don't know Sale of The Century was a quiz show from the seventies hosted by Nicholas Parsons. Now Nicholas Parsons once appeared on another game show called 'Shooting Stars', this was hosted by comedians Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. Vic Reeves used to be a Pig Farmer and Karen for The Neutrinos was brought up on a pig farm, coincidence? Or some random facts cobbled together to look interesting? You decide. Oh also Delia Smith is a celebrity cook and has probably roasted a pig or two in her time, spooky no?

If you are an avid reader of the TSM Radio interviews you will know that I put a lot of research into the artists prior to the interview process. So it was a big surprise that my latest interviewees Butler-Williams chose their name in honour of 70s bawdy British comedy. Chris Butler was obviously a fan of On The Buses and took his name from Blakey's nemesis Stan Butler and is apparent that Noel Williams is a massive fan of actor Kenneth Williams who as we all know was a stalwart of the Carry On films. Their new album 'Up the Back Passage and Down the Hole' is available in the summer. Of course non of this is true...oo'err missus.

Interview: Old Sarge E-mail

Blimey O'Riley, you are gonna need a comfy seat and a nice cup of cocoa for this one. Scottish electronica activist Old Sarge has kindly answered the questions this time round and boy didn't he do a thorough job of it. After receiving his completed interview we had to employ the team of editors that worked on War and Peace to edit the thing down. Don't get me wrong I prefer this to one word answers or like David Blaine holding your hand up to the interviewer to show a crappy drawing of an eye every time he asks a question. No what I object to is that Old Sarge can spout more shite than me, this is my house Old Sarge and don't forget it. Wink
