Futuristic Retro Champions to support The Vaselines



Scottish synth pop band Futuristic Retro Champions are due to play as band member Harry Weeks describes it 'the biggest gig of our fledgling pop lives'. The FRC will be supporting 80s indie-pop icons, The Vaselines at the Kentish Town Forum.

The gig is on the 27th March and doors open at 7pm and they are hoping that there will be a tribe of people going down from Edinburgh and Glasgow to support them.

The Beat Poets SXSW Show Dates



This month will see The Beat Poets do their first shows in America as the band hit NYC next weekend and the following week grace the legendary SXSW festival in Austin Texas.

The Hussys Gig Dates



Glasgow's favourite pop band The Hussys have a gig arranged in their home town in April. They will be playing at Nice N Sleazy on Saturday April the 18th.

You can either buy tickets online HERE or at Tickets Scotland, 239 Argyle St, 0141 204 5151 under the Argyle St Bridge.

This is an addition to several other shows arranged between March and June in Edinburgh, Dunoon, Ayr and Glasgow. Check out their Myspace for details of the other gigs.


Zalinski Upcoming Gig Dates



London based band Zalinski have just published a series of gig dates in London between March and May. This includes The Horn in Watford on the 30th of March in which the band will be giving anyone who comes down to see them a free shot of Sambucca. Free booze and great music, can't be bad.
