The Profile Book is were members can leave comments on a particular member's profile, these comments are viewable by all members. This is a great way to interact with fellow members. Leaving a comment:- 1. Visit the member's profile page and click on the 'Profile Book' tab. 2. Click on the 'Sign Profile Book' link and a form will be revealed. 3. From here you can add your location, website address and your comments. 4. The comments section allows you to use quite a lot of Word Processor style functions. The interface uses tag like code (this is known as BBCODE for the experienced message board users out there). If you move your mouse pointer over the buttons you will see examples of how the code should be used. 5. Once you have entered your comment click the 'Submit Entry' button to post it. 6. You should now see your comment as others will see it, the only difference is that you have an 'Edit' link underneath the comment so you can make any changes to the message. Receiving a comment:- 1. To see if you have received any comments you need to visit the Profile Book (click the tab) on your Profile Page. 2. Any comments that have been left can be deleted, unpublished (not visable to other members), or you can leave feedback. 3. Leaving feedback means you reply to the comment that has been left. Please Note the reply appears underneath the original comment and is not left in the other member's Profile Book. SHARE THIS PAGE |
